CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

The Chairman of the Board shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Executive body members and all meetings of the International Conference. He shall preside or appoint a member of the Board of Executive body members to preside at all other meetings of the national and International Conference.

He shall sign all ordination certificates, credentials and diplomas.

He shall be in charge of all disciplinary action involving a member, except himself, of the Pastors Peace Alliance.

He shall be available for counsel to the President and members of the headquarters staff.

He shall perform any and all other functions usual and customary for a presiding officer.



DUTIES OF CHAIRMAN OF PPA

The chairman of an organization plays a crucial role in controlling finance matters by:

  • Setting financial goals and objectives
  • Approving budgets and financial plans
  • Overseeing financial performance and reports
  • Making key financial decisions
  • Ensuring financial transparency and accountability
  • Appointing and supervising the CEO of PPA and Finance Director
  • Reviewing and approving major financial transactions
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Representing the organization in financial matters with executives.
  • Providing strategic financial guidance and direction to president and finance secretary.

The chairman's financial leadership ensures the organization's financial health, stability, and growth, while also protecting the interests of Leadersand executive members of PPA.
